Bicycle

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

One of the good things about a nice temperature is the joy of cycling.
One of the fun things about cycling is the use of the bicycle bell.
One of the anoying things about the use of a bicycle bell is that no-one seems to be impressed.

"You say coke I say caine
You say John I say Wayne
Hot dog I say cool it man
I don't wanna be the President of America
You say smile I say cheese
Cartier I say please
Income tax I say Jesus
I don't wanna be a candidate
For Vietnam or Watergate
Cos all I want to do is

Bicycle bicycle bicycle"

Does it ring a bell?

Eclipse

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

A spot of dust was hiding on our camera's sensor. It must be the turkish beach that did the dirty job. Some flammable Methanol and shakey hands later the job was done.

...
If you want to steal oil you have to get ready for the next total eclipse. Get yourself a ticket to Siberia: August 1there will be a total eclipse with a width of about 250 km cross Western Siberia from the north to the south, then will cross the Altai Mountains and will go further to regions of China and Mongolia.

Happy tanking, and remember: you read it here first!

The Lone Ranger's horse was named Silver.

Gumbo

This boat looks like it belongs on the Mississippi River. Look what I found:

1.
In 1902 while on a hunting expedition in Sharkey County -Mississippi- , President Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt refused to shoot a captured bear. This act resulted in the creation of the world-famous teddy bear.

2.
"The Mississippi Delta was shining
Like a national guitar"
Paul Simon

"Where you can hear a country song from far
And someone play the honky-tonk guitar
Where all the lights will go out one by one
The people join the song
And the wind takes it away"
Pussycat

3.
Gumbo, gumbo and gumbo!

The famous writer Guy de Maupassant - when he was asked why he always had his dinner in the restaurant of the Eiffel Tower- replied that it was the only place from which he cannot see this monster.

It looked like a great day!

From out of a car.

And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile"
